Donation Opportunities
Bigger Vision is a privately funded, charitable organization and relies on the support of our community through monetary and resource donations. It is with your help that we are able to support our neighbors here in Athens!
Fund a Need
As a non-governmental charity, Bigger Vision relies on recurring donations, like bed sponsorships, from our generous supporters to fund our day-to-day operations. However, as we all know, life happens!
Maintaining our emergency shelter services requires a lot of moving parts and, from time to time, those parts breakdown. When that happens, we urgently need to fund emergency projects to keep our shelter running and to fulfill our commitment to provide support, shelter, and stability to all of our guests.

Please join us in our mission to support our friends and neighbors in the Athens community by donating to our current "Fund a Need" campaign.

Bed sponsorships are the best way to help us provide emergency shelter to our neighbors. The cost of the bed sponsorship represents our cost to provide two meals, shower, laundry, and 13 hours of shelter to one guest for the allotted amount of time.
Other Monetary Donations
Any donation amount whether given as a one time gift or as a recurring donation is appreciated. We rely on donations to provide materials, services, and salaries that cannot come from physical item donations. Historically, we have not received government funding, so private donations from our community have been our lifeline. Your donations keep our building safe and comfortable.

Resource Donations
Item donations from our community are essential to ensuring our guests and other people experiencing homelessness in Athens have their basic needs met. Every day from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM, we distribute snacks, water, hygiene supplies, and other necessities to people who come to our door. We also provide these items to our guests who stay with us through our Emergency Shelter Program or Community Impact Program.
