Our Leadership

As a nonprofit organization, we are governed by a Board of Directors that is made up of community members with varying abilities and talents. These members are committed to managing the organization with efficiency and integrity. The Board hires the Executive Director, who is responsible for overseeing service provision, financial performance, strategic direction, and other management areas. There are no strict qualifications for being a Board Member. We are most interested in recruiting people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives who are willing to lend their time, skills, and voice for the public good.

Andrew Wilkin, Executive Director

Andrew has worn many hats during his time at Bigger Vision. He started as a volunteer during his sophomore year at UGA. After graduating from the Terry College of Business, he joined the board. He spent four years on the board before taking over as Bigger Vision's Executive Director from 2016-2020. During that time, Andrew oversaw Bigger Vision's transformation from a 6-month, winter shelter to a year-round shelter that has become a vital lifeline to many in Athens. After spending some time as a financial advisor, Andrew decided to return to Bigger Vision as the Executive Director in 2026 to oversee Bigger Vision's next phase of the growth.
