Evening Meal Provider
Meal Providers prepare a fully cooked meal for 40 people offsite and bring it to the shelter by 5:30 PM. You would include a main entree, side(s), and drink(s)—desserts are optional but appreciated! Plates, cups, ice for drinks, and utensils are provided by the shelter. If you are also willing to stay and serve the meal, please also sign-up as an "Evening Facilitator”.
*Please note that all meal provider slots are manually approved to ensure we do not have overlapping providers, so there may be a slight delay between when the slot is filled and when it shows as filled in the calendar.
Evening Facilitator
Facilitators support guests by handling guest check-in, providing access to belongings and laundry services, and helping with meal serving duties as needed. Volunteers work in shifts to ensure essential services like showers and laundry run smoothly.
Bridge Builder
Bridge Builders support guests by building meaningful connections through card and board games and conversation and assisting or filling-in for the "Evening Facilitator” as needed. This vital role helps bring humanity and dignity to individuals experiencing homelessness in a supportive environment.
