As a volunteer meal provider, you would deliver a fully prepared meal to the shelter that could feed up to 40. Meal Providers prepare a fully cooked meal offsite and bring it to the shelter by 5:30 PM. You would include a main entree, side(s), and drink(s)—desserts are optional but appreciated! Plates and utensils are provided by the shelter staff upon arrival. If you are also willing to stay and serve the meal, please also sign-up as an "evening meal server."

*Please note that all meal provider slots are manually approved to ensure we do not have overlapping providers, so there may be a slight delay between when the slot is filled and when it shows as filled in the calendar.

We need at least 3 people to assist with serving our evening meals to our overnight guest. You can sign up for this independently or in conjunction with meal preparation. Meal Servers will plate and serve the pre-prepared meals to the guests and clean up the kitchen afterwards. Facilitators support guests by providing access to belongings and laundry services while building meaningful connections through conversation and games. This vital role helps bring humanity and dignity to individuals experiencing homelessness in a supportive environment. Volunteers work in shifts to ensure essential services like showers and laundry run smoothly.
